Spider Studios is the umbrella for more than two decades of commercial multimedia work across photography, video, animation, illustration, digital design, motion graphics, e-learning and branded web content. Jason has designed and produced websites, interactive experiences and digital campaigns since 1999; Darren Evans is one current, publicly viewable example from that wider body of work.

Project notes
Alongside digital projects, Jason has produced promotional photography and visual content that uses composition, lighting, colour and art direction to give artists and brands a distinctive, usable image library for digital promotion.
Website design and build has been a continuous part of Jason’s practice since 1999, spanning commercial websites, interactive experiences, branded content and digital campaigns. The work has evolved alongside the web itself—from early digital builds through to responsive, content-managed and UX-led platforms.
Jason designed, built and managed darren-evans.co.uk as a complete WordPress website for the net-zero consultancy. The work translated a complex technical service offer into a clear, characterful and approachable digital experience, with an illustrated visual language and a flexible structure that could grow with the business.
Alongside the website build, Jason managed the site’s evolving digital presence and edited the Thrive in Construction podcast in its early days, helping establish a consistent, polished experience across the organisation’s web and audio content.
